STRATEGIC PLAN

INTRODUCTION

RESAERCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER (RDC) was established as a Research institution on 1st March 2015 as one of the strategic initiatives of the IIC.

The aim of the center is to provide a world class focus and resources for research in the Ethiopian Somali Region as one of its communication hubs.

RDC engages the social sciences broadly defined and especially interdisciplinary frontiers between and beyond disciplines.

Through frequent provision of theoretical and practical research in the areas of natural and social sciences as well as it seeks to be a center of excellence in the research field.

VISION

RDC’s vision is to be a leading research and development institution, place for creative endeavors, and to be the greatest contributor to the development of the region.

MISSION

RDC’s mission is to promote, develop and facilitate creative endeavors, research and development at the Ilays International College (IIC) that foster the technological, economic and social wellbeing of the region, in collaboration with government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the private sector.
